HELICOPTER ROUTE SIMIKOT – HILSA

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter is a suitable program for those Yatries who are willing to complete this Yatra with easy, however possible. This holy journey starts from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and Nepalgunj to Simikot by scheduled flight and from Simikot to Hilsa by chartered Helicopter Service. From Hilsa (Nepal China border), the pilgrims picked up by deluxe coach and transferred to the Border Town of Tibet Taklakot/Purang, from there they proceed towards the exotic Yatra of Kailash and Mansarovar.

Day 01: Lucknow to Nepalgunj (168m):

Pick up from Lucknow train station or Railway station and drive further 5 hours to Nepalgunj. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Nepalgunj to Simikot(2910m)-Hilsa(3700m):

Early in the morning, transfer to NepalgunjAirport. Fly 50 minutes to Simikot, further fly 20 minutes by Helicopter to Hilsa. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Hilsato Purang(3800m):

Trek shortly, cross Karnali River to Sher.Embark Nepal and drive an hour to Taklakot (Purang).Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Purang:

The day rest for acclimatization.

Day 05: Purang to Mansarovar(4580m):

One and half hour drive to reach Chiu Gompa. Start MansarovarParikramaby ECO Coach. Holy Bath &Pooja during Parikrama. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Mansarovar to Driaphuk(4890m) - 6 to 7 hours

Early morning drive about one and half hours to Yam Dwar. Start Kailash on Foot Parikrama.Overnight stay at Guest houses.

Day 07: Driaphuk to Zuthulphuk(4790m)- 8 to 9 hours.

Start trek as early as possible, cross Dolma-La (5670M). Darshan of Ganesh Kund and GauriKund. Overnight stay at Guest houses.

Day 08: Zuthulphuk / Hilsa to Simikot.

Trek more 3 hours to end KailashParikrama. Drive about 4 hours. Embark Tibet – China to Hilsa and Helicopter fly to Simikot. Overnight stay at Guest houses.

Day 09: Simikot / Nepalgunj to Lucknow.

Early in the morning fly to Nepalgunj and further drive 5 hours to Lucknow.

Note: The amount of USD is based on 2018, the year of 2019 is the year to revise the package cost by CIPSC, if the package cost revised, the difference will be applicable.

Cancellation Policy

All notice of cancellation must be sent to our office in writing; verbal cancellation will not be accepted. There is no refund for services not used. In addition, the following cancellation rules will be applicable on the balance amount payable.

• If made within 21 days prior of tour departure date or once travel permit has been applied: 30% cancellation will be charged.
• If made within 15 days prior of tour departure date: 50% cancellation will be charged.
• If made within 7 days and less prior of tour departure date: 75% cancellation will be charged.
• If the case of no show: 100% cancellation will be charged.

Above rules are applicable as per the rules and regulation of China Tibet Tourism Bureau (CTTB), (CIPSC) China Indian Pilgrims Service Center and (IPSC) Indian Pilgrims Service China

25% of the total package cost of the Indian amount should be paid at least 45 days prior or time of the booking confirmation to the tour departure date, the payment can be made by Telex or Bank Transfer into the account of ABC adventures.

Remaining payment should be made within 10 days before departure date of the Yatra.

Risk and Liabilities

We will endeavour to make your journey smooth and as pleasant as possible. However the entire program in Tibet is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of China and Tibet Tourism Bureau. Therefore, ABC Adventures (P) Ltd.& its associate partners will not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government restrictions, land slides, road blockages, flood, snow, and any unforseing types of obstructions, cancellation / delay of flight, delay due to late permit and Visa, illness or accidents. The pilgrims shall have to bear all extra costs incurred, if any above mentioned obstacles arise during the yatra by themselves.

Document

Passports with a minimum of 6 months’ validity and two copies of pp size photographs.

Fitness

This is not a trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this Yatra if they think they are able and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult their doctor prior to embarking on this trip. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.

Food and Beverage

We will serve purely vegetarian delicious continental & Indian meals; Breakfast and Dinner in hotels, served by CIPSC- Indian Kitchen. Packed lunch will be provided at the time of Kailash Parikarama.

Clothing and Necessities

As the temperature greatly varies between day and night (from max. 16 degrees Celsius to min. –10 degrees Celsius) one should be prepare accordingly.

Woolen gloves, Monkey cap, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woolen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Torch with extra batteries/bulbs, Muffler, Mask, Raincoat, Sweater, Shirt/T-shirts & Trekking shoes etc.
